防盜門響時該如何處理? - 顧客行為

我們店裡有安裝電子防盜門,
平常若有客人進出而防盜門感應到作響的話,
一般都是會先道歉,
然後看看是進來的人還是出去的人被防盜門感應到,
再看是什麼東西讓防盜門感應到這樣,
如果是客人身上的包包被感應的話會委婉的請客人借我們看一下,
或是跟客人說希望幫他找出有感應的商品,
然後幫他消磁以免到裝設相同系統的商店也發生一樣的情形。
因為我們的態度一直都很客氣也很委婉,
所以客人也都能接受,
目前為止我也沒遇過因類似事件不合作或不高興的客人~~
但今天發生了一件事,
晚上的時候有一個客人離開店裡的時候防盜門作響,
他手上拿一袋東西、背後背一個包包,
後來測試後發現是背後那個包包被感應到。
當時店裡有我和我同事和一個工讀生共3人,
我站在收銀結帳,
我同事剛好去上廁所,
然後因為公司規定只有正職人員才能站收銀,
所以我無法離開收銀台,
剩下工讀生跟那客人處理這件事。
不過由於收銀台就在防盜門附近而已,
所以當時發生的情況我很清楚也都有掌握到。
之後就是工讀生請客人包包借我們看一下,
幫他看是什麼東西被防盜門感應到,
但客人不願意給我們看包包,
他說他回家再自己找就好了。
接著我們又跟客人說,
因為他進來的時候門沒有響,
結果出去的時候卻響了,
所以我們是例行公事能不能給我們大概看一下,
但客人怎麼都不願意,
還說
"如果要我給你看包包可以啊,那如果裡面沒有你要找的東西,
那你要怎麼補償我?那你要怎麼賠償我?"
他的態度雖不至於很兇,
卻有種咄咄逼人的感覺。
剛好這時候有其他客人要結帳,
我分身乏術,
只好跟那客人說 "不然算了,你就直接離開,沒關係"
然後那客人就走了,
走之前還跟我說, "你也知道我常來嘛,對不對"
其實我對他沒什麼印象,
好像有點眼熟,又好像沒看過,
所以也不曉得他到底有沒有常來。
後來我們工讀生有點忿忿不平的跟我說,
"就這樣讓他走了,要是他有偷東西怎麼辦?"
我就說, "可是也不能確定他有沒有偷東西,如果沒偷的話要怎麼辦,"
"剛好那個***去上廁所,不然剛剛交給他解決就好了"
後來我同事上完廁所出來我跟他講這件事,
他說如果是他的話不會讓他這樣離開,
至少也要確定他包包沒有東西,
如果要他賠償他可以低身下氣的跟他道歉~
我是想問問大家的意見,
遇到這種情形該怎麼辦?
以後又遇到類似情形該怎麼辦?
那個客人說要賠償,
我也沒問他要賠償什麼東西,
如果是店裡的贈品那倒好辦事,
就怕他是要其他的賠償,像是賠錢啊,或是告我們之類的,
我們老闆又是以和為貴的人,
總是希望大事化小、小事化無、盡量不要和客人起衝突。
但是我又覺得如果真的有偷東西的話這樣讓他走真不甘心,
要是每一個小偷都用這招那要怎麼辦?
如果是清白的又怕會因此得罪他,
覺得那個尺度好難拿捏喔…
