請問付了訂金,但又不想購買手機了 - 消費者保護

上個月因為很喜歡S5230這隻手機而到了之前維修手機的X強店
看了展示機,本月7/5付了訂金1000元,當時業務員表示此款手機續約價6000元,
之後問了很多通訊行及其他家X強竟然比該分店賣的便宜,
所以,我於7/20向店家表示退訂,店員和其主管討論後表示不得退還訂金
但可折抵商品,我已拒絕,想請問大家,真的不能退嗎?
因為不想被坑了~~~
