我正在英國的amazon網站上賣書

在amazon賣而不選擇ebay的原因
一是amazon的流通量大
書未賣出之前不charge market place的費用
通常買家的匯款
會先進amazon的戶頭
seller收到賣出的通知信要在兩天以內寄出物品
只要看到這個匯款的動作complete
就表示buyer的錢已進amazon的戶頭
賣出物品的金額加上運費
扣掉VAT(稅)和market place fee(費用很高大概近20%，以妳的定價來算百分比)
才是seller可以收到的錢
事後buyer可以自行在網路上做transfer
而且運費是固定的費用
如果物品很重，seller要自己吸收那部份的運費
所以能賺的通常不多，除非成本很低＠＠
瀏覽率很高
我才在這賣兩週
就把我大部分想賣的賣掉了
大概15本左右的書

二是放置期間長
ebay是charge一定費用但只能放七天(如果沒記錯的話)
amazon是可以放約兩個月
沒售出不收費

三是管理方便
他們的系統還算好用
你有問題當然也可以直接連絡買家
不滿意貨品通常也可以refund

另外amazon有規定物品的condition刊登標準

New- Brand-new, unused, unread and in perfect condition.

Like New- an apparently unread copy in perfect condition.
Dust cover is intact, pages are clean and not marred by notes or
folds. Suitable for presenting as a gift.

Very good- a copy that has been read, but is in excellent condition.
Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting.
The spine remains undamaged.

good- a copy that has been read but remains in clean condition.
All pages are intact and the cover is intact (including dust cover,
if applicable).

acceptable- a readable copy. All pages and the cover are intact
(dust cover may be missing). Pages can include considerable
notes--in pen or highlighter--but notes cannot obscure the text.

當然還是要詳讀seller的comments
如果需要可以問他們問題
在feedback旁邊的選項有可以連絡seller得選項


整個過程是蠻安全的我覺得
因為seller and buyer不會知道對方的信用卡帳戶
只有交易編號
