high quality brands, products made by The North Face are sometimes
counterfeited by disreputable manufacturers operating illegally, without
our knowledge or consent.

We are very concerned with protecting our brand integrity and the
interests of our consumers. It is with these goals in mind that The
North Face recommends to all consumers that they only purchase our
products through authorized dealers. This is the only way we are able to
assure the authenticity of our products. We cannot guarantee the quality
of products that are not authentic The North Face products, and these
products are not covered under warranty.

To our knowledge, there are no authorized dealers selling The North Face
products through online auction houses. Our authorized dealers are
listed on our web site Dealer Locator at http://www.thenorthface.com.

The most common indicators that you may have purchased a counterfeit are
1) it was purchased from a non-authorized dealer, 2) the price was
significantly lower than the Suggested Retail Price, 3) the materials
and workmanship are of poor quality.

Unfortunately, there is no definitive way for us to tell if your product
is authentic without examining it here at the Warranty Department. If
