第四代的Moscot眼鏡總裁Kenny Moscot逝世 - 品牌

Moscot 眼鏡的第四代總裁Kenny Moscot在上週五清晨過世了，享年40歲。作為Moscot的
總裁，Kenny Moscot負責Moscot 眼鏡的整體發展與產品設計，確保品牌本身在轉型成國
際品牌的過程中能維持它所擁有的「紐約下東區」特質與對文化流行的親緣性。

Moscot 眼鏡對於Kenny Moscot的過世作出表示：
It is with a heavy heart that I must convey the devastating news to you that
Kenny passed away this morning, Friday, November 5th, shortly after 10am.
Kenny was truly an inspiration. He was a leader, a visionary, a father, a
brother, a son, and our friend. Quite simply, Kenny was a remarkable human
being who was loved - genuinely loved - and admired by everyone who was ever
fortunate to have known him. To say he will be sorely missed does not begin
to do justice to the hole he will leave in so many of our lives. A service
for Kenny will be held this Sunday, November 7th at 12:00pm.Riverside-Nassau

Tip：Moscot這家知名的眼鏡公司1915年在美國紐約成立，由當時的Moscot家族第一代
Hyman Moscot所設立，最早當時是在曼哈頓的下東區Orchard Street 以手推車的方式販
賣現成眼鏡為起點，最終在Rivington Street 開了第一間店面。而現在Moscot眼鏡已傳
至第四代了，已成為全球知名的流行眼鏡品牌，其中強尼戴普、史汀、藍斯阿姆斯壯、肯
伊威斯特、芮妮齊薇格與丹佐華盛頓等人都是其常客。Moscot的框架極具特色，他們是某
種原件複製（vintage）的復古風格作為其主力訴求，並於其中再加入當代風格的經典元
素。例如他們複製了30年代、40年代、50年代一直到60年代等各時期的特色，如重製玻璃
作為鏡片材質的太陽眼鏡或1940當時鏡片顏色為為主打色調的眼鏡等。
