國外購物網站這樣的要求合理嗎？ - 海外購物

我在幾個購物網站買過東西
信用卡付款後從來沒有問題

但是昨天某個國外購物網站客服的回覆卻讓我有點不解

Thank you for your recent order from Cxxxxxe Cxxxx.
In an effort to reduce international credit card fraud
we request that all international customers send a copy
of government issued identification along with the front
and back of your credit card to our office.

這樣的要求還是我第一次遇到　不知道這樣的要求是不是很正常或合理
如果是合理的
我是要附給身份証還是護照呢？？？
附信用卡背面証明時　我可不可以把安全碼遮住呢？
