以前看到mont-bell的windstopper羽絨外套Permafrost Parka用上抗水拉鍊
在想這麼搞剛的緣故是什麼
我最初的想法是windstopper就是沒上貼條的gore-tex
對Gore公司來說 他的PTEF膜在服裝配件不會僅限於風雨衣雪衣防水手套
可以增加銷量攤低成本
對服裝廠來說 沒要求到完全防水的外層服飾可以省貼條於是省工
得以用較低(跟完全防水相比)的價格銷售 而且貼條是有壽命的
不做貼條講明不防水反而可以用更久 大家也比較不會去擔心這是哪年的產品會不會漏水
看到推出捨dry-tec改用windstopper的Versalite Jacket後證實windsopper防水
不過也代表windstopper的膜跟gore-tex不一樣 所以上了貼條一樣不是gore-tex
用關鍵字windstopper waterproof去google了一下
看到reddit也有篇文在討論windstopper防不防水

有人回答說windstopper薄膜是比傳統gore-tex膜更透氣的版本
