這是我在這罐鞋油上看到的

原文如下:

Reapply regularly.Observe your boots. If your leather is absorbing water or

appears dry and scuffing, it's past due. Moisture, dry air, heat, and dust

remove natural tanning oils. Loss of oils causes cracking and scuffing.

Use only natural oils to preserve leather. Leather care products that

contain petroleum or mink oil can cause harm and we do not recommend to

preserve our quality leather.

後面這段我有點不太懂，因為當皮革開始吸收水分或是太乾的話，不是代表皮革本身的油
脂不足嗎?

他建議用天然的保養油而不是用含石油萃取物成分的保養品來保養這我能理解

但他也不建議用貂油(mink oil)來保養

貂油不是天然的成分而且是屬於較滋潤的保養品嗎?

為何他說會造成傷害也不建議使用?
