costco 會員到期問題 - 好市多

我是去年新辦的金星卡，卡上日期是6/10
昨天6/4想說趁離到期還有幾天，跑去costco買了西瓜跟零食
要結帳時，收銀員跟我說"我的卡是6月辦的，現在已經6月了所以要續約才能結帳"
但是我身上也沒帶那麼多錢，本來只是想買餅乾，後來想說算了都不要買好了..
就跟收銀員道個歉說要把東西拿回去放，當下他臉臭臭的跟我說僅只一次...
就順利結帳了^^"
我想問的是，這樣不是不到365天，是不會計較那幾天拉，只是剛好有去買東西
且還在考慮要不要續約，但如果照他這樣月份算
6/10跟6/30都是一樣到5/31就停卡了，這樣不就6/1辦卡的最吃香
看了一下FAQ
" Q: 好市多會員期限都怎麼算? "
A: 從申辦當月算起滿12個月為有效期限，不論有無消費
所以想請問一下期間到底是怎麼算的???
